Wendy’s is going big for Halloween 2026 with two returning promotions: Frosty Frights — 12 collectible toys hiding in Kids’ Meals from September 14 through November 1 — and Boo! Books, the $1 coupon booklets with five free Frosty coupons, on sale August 31 through November 1 while supplies last. Boo! Book purchases also support the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.
Frosty Frights 2026: the toys
The 2026 Frosty Frights set — the third year of the Halloween tradition — hides in Wendy’s Kids’ Meals from September 14 through November 1, 2026, at participating U.S. restaurants, while supplies last. The set has 12 figures: six new characters, each with a Halloween-colored variant.
- Numb Chuck — the Ninja
- E.A.T. (Exceptional Alien Treat) — the Alien
- Sir Choc-O-Lot — the Knight
- Shiver Wing — the Bat
- Taran Chilla — the Spider
- Cold Foot — the Yeti
Each toy comes with a sticker sheet and a mini trading card, and meals arrive in a full-color themed Halloween meal bag. Kids’ Meal choices include 2-piece chicken tenders, 4-piece nuggets, a hamburger or a cheeseburger, served with Jr. Hot & Crispy Fries (see our Wendy’s French Fries price and nutrition guide) or Apple Bites and a kids’ drink.
See all 12 figures and the current Kids’ Meal lineup on Wendy’s official Kids’ Meal toys page.
Under-3 option: Wendy’s youngest fans get a “Frosty Frights Halloween Dance Party” book instead of a toy — just ask for the “Under 3 Toy Option” when ordering.
The 13th toy — Brain Freeze: The (un)lucky 13th figure is Brain Freeze, available only through a Wendy’s Rewards Drop in the Wendy’s app on October 30, 3–4 p.m., with only 2,000 figures available nationwide. Wendy’s has not yet published the entry process, so have a Rewards account and the app ready before the hour starts. (Reported by Attractions Magazine and Pirates & Princesses; Wendy’s own toys page still lists the 13th figure only as ‘coming soon’ via Rewards.)
Fright 4 All: Wendy’s is also running weekly Frosty Frights in-app challenges for four weeks. Complete challenges to keep access to VIP offers starting October 26. Wendy’s account registration is required.
Boo! Books: $1 for five free Frostys
On sale August 31 through November 1, 2026, at participating U.S. restaurants — in-restaurant, drive-thru, self-order kiosks, the Wendy’s app, and online — while supplies last. Also available in bulk through the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.
Each $1 Boo! Book contains:
- Five coupons, each good for a FREE Jr. Frosty
- One bonus coupon for a $1.99 Kids’ Meal with purchase
Frosty coupons are valid through December 31, 2026 and redeem in-restaurant only, with no additional purchase required. 90 cents of every book sold supports the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption’s work finding permanent homes for children in foster care. Find purchase options, redemption details, and FAQs on Wendy’s official Boo! Books page.
In Canada
Canada gets its own version: Boo! Books cost $3 (not $1) and went on sale September 28, 2026, with six Frosty Frights collectibles at participating Canadian restaurants from the same date — all while supplies last. All Canadian book proceeds benefit the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption Canada. (Our site’s prices are U.S.-focused; treat this as a Canada note, not the headline offer.)
